Create drawings for the Jack Lift Assembly

  1. Create a new presentation (.ipn) for your Jack Lift assembly and move the parts apart so that they can be seen without any overlap.
    this is an exploded view.
  2. Save it as JackLiftPresentationYourName
  3. Create a new drawing based on the exploded Jack Lift assembly presentation.
  4. From the Annotate menu choose PARTS LIST and click to place the parts list on the page
  5. Choose the Balloon option and click on all the parts in the isometric view to add balloons to the drawing.
  6. Click and drag to move the balloons to where you want them.
  7. Save your drawing as JackLiftDrawingYourName
  8. You should already have a Word document named JackLift_YourName on your H: drive showing the wireframe view of the jacklift from the Activity 2-3-5 on the Compsci drive. Capture a screen print of your drawing (hold down Alt and press Prt Scrn) and paste it into your word document.
