Design a package for your puzzle cube following these directions.
(we will paint cubes Friday) ( if you still need to glue come in during lunch or after school)
SWBAT: consider marketing techniques for making a product attractive. Design packaging, Reflect on the design process.
4 Tell how packaging has influenced you. Finish gluing your cube. Adding to your journal. Drawing puzzle parts. Designing your package.
When finished you can paint your cube.
Hand in journals at the end of class. (all drawing pages and design process will be graded)
SWBAT: create a functional and attractive design to present and market a product.

7 See if your answers have been submitted Color/paint cubes and packages. Last class day to work on cubes. SWBAT: complete designs.
8 Create a folder on your H drive called InventorYourName Demonstration: Start working with 3D modeling
Follow directions in class all together to make the 2 parts in Inventor using parametric modeling techniques.
SWBAT: use CAD software to create 2 and 3 D models. Properly set up projects and create and save parts.
9 Start Inventor right away Take notes on additive and subtractive modeling. (Presentation on edline)
Create the third practice part. Color every side the same color.
Start to create your puzzle pieces in Inventor. Measure first to be sure you are using the right sizes. Save as redPart, bluePart, etc.
SWBAT: use both additive and subtractive modeling.
10 Start Inventor right away Finish making your puzzle cube parts in Inventor. name them greenPart, yellowPart, etc.
