In elementary and middle school teachers assign regular homework.

In college and business, a person must make the time they need to get their work done,
however much time that may take.

High school is a good time to make the transition.
If you:

• were absent and need to make up work
• were not able to finish all work in class
• are falling behind
• need to review and understand more

Then you should either be staying after school to get extra help and catch up or you should be doing work at home to keep up and master the material.
